We look forward to seeing you and your child at one of our kindergarten registration events listed below. 

• Students will complete the Kindergarten Readiness Assessment during this time.
• Your child must be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2024 to enroll in kindergarten.

Before attending one of our events, please complete the online registration forms, scan and upload your registration documents at home. If you have technical difficulties uploading your documents, you will be able to complete the process at school.

Rising Kindergarten Academy

Kindergarten Registration Must Be Complete Prior to Registering for Rising Kindergarten Academy

Rising K Academy offers fun, creative, hands-on activities for our rising kindergarten students.

Students in Rising K Academy will meet new friends, learn through play, practice cooperating with their peers, and build the skills they will need to be ready for the first day of kindergarten.

The free Rising K Academy will be held June 10th-28th at Camp Creek Elementary School from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Transportation and meals (breakfast and lunch) are provided free of charge. There will be no school on June 19th.

PLEASE NOTE:  

• GCPS transportation will only be available to students whose registration is complete by Wednesday, May 8, 2024.
• Space is limited; once your child's kindergarten registration is complete, you will receive information regarding registration for this program.
